BREAKING: Early morning North Trenton House fire displaces multiple

TRENTON ( MERCER) Trenton fire Department responded to the intersection of Philips Ave and Dexter Street after receiving 911 calls for a house on fire just after 3:30 A.M. Heavy fire could be seen coming from the interior of the home on one side while other residents were evacuated. Trenton firefighters extinguish the fire and the Battalion Chief placed the fire under control a short time later. One resident is an elderly male and the second resident is a female with two children who just moved into the home back in July. All residents are being assisted by the American Red Cross. The Trenton Police department and the Trenton fire Marshal are investigating the cause of the fire.
