One Injured in West Windsor crash that left car overturned

West Windsor Township, NJ (Mercer) One person suffered minor injuries after colliding at the intersection of Quaker Bridge Road & Clarksville Road. One vehicle was overturned Tuesday afternoon during rush hour that caused delays in the area, Multiple fire departments from West Windsor and Lawrence township responded to the scene but were later recalled.

Man crashes car after being shot multiple times Tuesday morning

Trenton, Nj (Mercer) On Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 7:54 am, Trenton Police officers responded to the area of Eisenhower Avenue and Coolidge Avenue after receiving reports of shots fired. On scene, Police officers found a victim of the shooting inside of a crashed car. The victim, an adult male, was struck by several bullets while he was driving. The male then crashed the car and was found by Police officers. The male was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in critical condition, but he is expected to survive according to Trenton Police.

Two Alarm Fire In Robbinsville Destroys Home

Robbinsville Township, NJ (Mercer) Robbinsville Firefighters along with Hamilton Township Fire department & mutual aid fire departments battled a 2 alarm fire on Randolph Drive in the unit block, their were no reported injuries. Firefighters were met with heavy fire coming from the residence at that time the battalion chief called for all fire personnel to go to defense operations to fight the fire from out side the structure and on ladders. Hamilton Battalion Chief placed the fire under control at 9:54 Pm Tuesday night. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The displaced family is being assisted by the the American Red Cross.

Multi- Alarm Fire Rips Through Recycling Plant

Trenton, NJ (Mercer) Trenton Firefighters battled a multi alarm (3 Alarm fire) on the 300 block of Enterprise Ave early Tuesday morning. The fire broke out just after 12:30 Am at the All County Recycling yard, Firefighters arrived on the scene to the whole yard nearly on fire with multiple explosions from the yard as 3 trucks went up in flames. The wind as well as water supply made it difficult for Firefighters to fight the fire. Firefighters brought the blaze under control sometime around 6 Am, their were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Stabbed Man crashes En Route to Hospital

Trenton, NJ (Mercer) Trenton Police are investigating after a man was stabbed and crashed his vehicle while en route to the hospital early Tuesday morning. The crash happened on North Olden Ave and Taylor Street near the park, the man was stabbed in the area of his neck. Trenton Ems and Capital Health Paramedics transported the man to Capital Health Regional Medical Center.

Two Injured After Crashing Into North Olden Ave Bridge

Trenton, NJ (Mercer) A crash left two people with injures after after striking the Bridge on North Olden Ave between Taylor Street & Parker Ave. The crash happened just after midnight on Monday, the vehicle caught fire after striking the bridge Trenton firefighters extinguished the fire and provided aid to the driver and passenger. Trenton Ems transported both occupants to Capital Health Regional Medical Center. The cause of the crash is unknown Trenton Police are investigating.

City employee arrested after stealing 168 items from City

Trenton, NJ (Mercer) Trenton Police Director Sheilah A. Coley announced that a City of Trenton sanitation employee was arrested for knowingly being in possession of stolen property.

Paul Bethea, 61, of Trenton, is charged with one count of receiving stolen property.

On Friday afternoon, April 2, 2021 around 2:00 p.m., Trenton Police Officers responded to 675 Prospect Street after receiving a call about a verbal dispute. Officers spoke with the owner of the location who told them that he had allowed Bethea to store property in a vacant part of the building for the last six months. The owner had become suspicious that some of the property was stolen.

The officers discovered that some of the property, including at least two snow blowers, was reported stolen from 260 North Willow Street late last year. During the investigation, Bethea was arrested at the scene.

Officers recovered 168 pieces of property – mostly power tools and lawn equipment – from the location. The investigation is ongoing as the detectives attempt to determine if any additional property has been reported stolen. Anyone with related information is asked to call the Trenton Police anonymous tip line at 609-989-3784.

Man injured after being struck by Car in South Ward

Trenton, NJ ( Mercer) Trenton Police and Ems responded to the 400 block of Centre Street around 5 Pm Sunday. The male was struck by a vehicle and fled the scene the male could be heard shouting out in pain as EMT’s and firefighters aided the man. Trenton emergency medical services transported the man to Capital Health trauma center.

Man Killed After being struck by two cars on Route 29

Trenton, NJ (Mercer) The Trenton Police Department along with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s office is investigating after a male was struck by two vehicles on Route 29 Northbound near the exit to Riverside Ave Saturday night. Trenton Ems and Capital Health paramedics pronounced the male deceased on scene.

UPDATE : victim, identified as Marcus Drury, a 51-year-old man from Frazier Street in Trenton.

Press release from TPD: On Saturday, April 3, 2021 at approximately 8:30 pm, Trenton Police officers responded to the area of Route 29 North and Hermitage Avenue after receiving reports of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. Officers discovered the victim, identified as Marcus Drury, a 51-year-old man from Frazier Street in Trenton. Mr. Drury was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Preliminary investigation revealed that two vehicles struck the victim. The drivers of both vehicles have been identified, as well as the vehicles involved. The investigation is on-going and we ask that anyone with any information contact the Trenton Police Department anonymous tip line at 609-989-DRUG (3784).

The investigation is being conducted by Trenton Police Detective Nicholas Morgante, along with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
