Trenton, NJ (Mercer) Trenton Police and the Mercer County Homicide Task force are investigating a homicide after a man was shot multiple times and killed in an alley on Cunningham Alley and Penfield Alley in East Trenton. Trenton Emergency Medical Services and Capital Health paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased on scene. Police have not made any arrest in the shooting, one person was transported to Police headquarters for questioning.

Trenton, NJ (Mercer) Trenton Police are investigating after a man was stabbed and crashed his vehicle while en route to the hospital early Tuesday morning. The crash happened on North Olden Ave and Taylor Street near the park, the man was stabbed in the area of his neck. Trenton Ems and Capital Health Paramedics transported the man to Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
Trenton, NJ (Mercer) As a shouting match happened outside the Rescue Mission of Trenton on Carroll Street Trenton EMS was treating a male for a stab wound. it is unknown where the male was stabbed however Trenton Police officers were tracking blood drops outside the door to the Mission. The male is is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries. Trenton ems transported the man to Capital Health Medical center. Trenton Police continue to investigate the motive for the stabbing and have not made any arrest.
Trenton, NJ (Mercer) Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced today that an investigation conducted by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force has resulted in charges being filed against four men in the May 30, 2018 homicide of KuylerFowler.
All four men are charged with murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses. Breon Phelps, 21, of Trenton is currently detained in the Mercer County Correction Center on unrelated charges. Isaac Fisher, 21, of Trenton, and Justin Malkin, 21, of Hamilton, are incarcerated at the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility on unrelated charges. The fourth suspect, a 19-year-old Willingboro man, is currently being held at the Hudson County Correction Center on unrelated charges. His name is not being released at this time because he was a juvenile at the time of the murder. The prosecutor’s office will file a motion seeking to have him tried as an adult.
On May 30, 2018, Trenton police responded to the 900 block of East State Street just after 12:30 a.m. after the Shot Spotter gunshot detection system activated for multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, police located an Audi parked on the street with more than 20 bullet strikes. Nineteen-year-old Kuyler Fowler was inside of the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to the hospital where he died a short time later. A second shooting victim was located at the hospital. The 16-year-old black male, who was struck in the leg, was treated and released. Despite having been charged, every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
EWING, NJ (MERCER) : On March 25, 2021 at 6:10PM. Ewing Police Detective Tyler Bender was working an extra-duty assignment at 1750 Olden Ave and was alerted to a stabbing that occurred on the property. Detective Bender immediately assisted the victim with medical attention until Emergency Medical Services arrived. Detective Bender was advised by witnesses that the suspect’s vehicle was leaving the lot and he broadcasted the vehicle description to responding units. Ewing patrol officers were able to locate the vehicle on Ewingville Road where they conducted a motor vehicle stop on the vehicle and ultimately determined the driver was the suspect involved. Juan C. Rosa, 31 of Ewing NJ, was placed under arrest and transported to the Ewing Police Department for processing. Trenton, NJ (MERCER) On Friday, March 12, 2021 at 4:20 pm, Trenton Police Officers Pedro Perez and Albert DiNatale III were on patrol in the area of New York Avenue and North Olden Avenue. Officers observed two men assaulting a third man. Once the officers intervened, they learned that the man being assaulted was robbed by the other two. Said Captain Peter Weremijenko.
The officers arrested Malik Bond, a 24-year-old resident of Laurel Place in Trenton and Semaj Logan, a 23-year-old resident of Frazier Street in Trenton. Both were charged with robbery and simple assault. The victim’s cell phone was recovered during the arrest.
TRENTON, NJ (MERCER) Trenton Police are investigating a stabbing that left 3 people with serious injuries. The stabbing happened just before 11:00 Pm Sunday night in the 800 block of Chestnut Ave, the victims were transported to Capital Health trauma center.
TRENTON, NJ (MERCER) Trenton Police responded to a shooting at 26 Carrol Street where two men were shot Saturday night. One was shot in the arm and one in the stomach.
They were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The press release issue by Trenton PD explains that the “Preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting occurred in a residence on Carroll Street. The assault is being investigated by our Shooting Response Team, under the direction of Detective Sergeant Cynthia Hargis. TRENTON, NJ ( MERCER) A male in his 20’s was stabbed in the arm after a unknown amount of guys attempted to rob the male in the area of South Cook Ave early Saturday morning. The male received stitches at a nearby hospital.
Trenton, NJ ( Mercer) A 23-year-old Maple Shade man has been arrested and charged with the murder of Lovelle Laramore on February 24, 2021, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.
On Thursday, February 25, 2021, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Trenton Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to 407 Home Avenue on a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, they found 60-year-old Lovelle Laramore on the couch with two gunshot wounds to the head. He was pronounced dead on scene.
An investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department revealed that Davon Marecheau was with the victim, his great-uncle, inside the residence on February 24 at the time of the murder. Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance that recorded audio of the gunshots as well as video of Marecheau leaving the scene after the shooting. During an execution of a search warrant at Marecheau’s apartment on March 4, detectives located several thousand dollars that Marecheau had taken from the victim’s residence after the murder.
Marecheau is charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and theft. He is being held in the Mercer County Correction Center pending a detention hearing.
