TRENTON NJ: The Trenton Fire department responded to the 600 block of Martin Luther king Blvd just after 4:00Am, where they encountered heavy fire coming from the second floor, a Trenton Police Officer attempted to retrieve the victim but was unsuccessful due to fire conditions. Firefighters pulled the victim out of the fire and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Firefighters banged on doors to get the neighboring residence out of the house due to fire exposure, the residents of the home thy was kicked out praised the fire department and they fast acting.

TRENTON NJ: Trenton Fire department responded to the area of Parkside Ave and Edgewood Ave after heavy rainfall left an area flooded with water from a creek spilling over on the the roadway trapping 2 males inside of a vehicle,one being a small child. Trenton Fire Marine unit rescued both males and got them to land safely and they were not injured at all. Please remember turn around don’t drown.
HAMILTON: Hamilton fire companies responded to the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue just after 2:00 Monday afternoon for reports of a house fire. Companies arrived on scene with fire from the rear of the residence caused from a propane grill against the house. Residents in the area stated hearing a loud explosion before hearing “a lot of sirens.” The fire was quickly extinguished and placed under control at 2:30. There were no reported injuries in the incident.
TRENTON NJ: Trenton Fire fighters,FMBA Local 6 & 206 & Buzzetta catering gave back to the residents of Trenton for a “Kick off to Memorial day Food-A-thon” offering a number of food items to eat. Hundreds of residents showed up some even broke out dancing, a live DJ was at the event from 11:00 Am to the end of the event at 2:00 PM. firefighters believe they fed well over 800 residents today and they were extremely happy with the turn out. Gov Murphy social distancing guidelines were followed.
TRENTON NJ: Trenton firefighters responded to the unit block of Tyrell Ave after residents reported a smoke condition coming from the houses.
The fire occurred just after 8:00 Pm Saturday night, firefighters arrived to heavy smoke showing from the homes, firefighters could be seen on the roof on the houses as smoke puffs out of the roof of the home. The fire was placed under control just before 9:00 Pm.
Fire Battalion chief reported no firefighters or residents were injured. The Fire is under investigation by the Trenton fire Marshal and the County arson unit.
HAMILTON TWP: Two cars caught fire inside of Bills tow yard on the unit block of Weller Ave, Hamilton Fire companies extinguished the fire, the cause of the fire is unclear no one was injured.
TRENTON NJ: Trenton firefighters responded to the intersection of Edgewood Ave and Murray street Wednesday morning just after 7:00 Am to an apartment building that was on fire. The building has been under construction and was vacant at the time of the fire. Trenton fire battalion chief says the fire is under investigation by the Trenton Police arson unit. No injuries’ were sustained, Fire crews remain on scene for the investigation.
TRENTON NJ: The Trenton fire department responded to the 100 block of Old Rose Street and Myers Ave after getting reports of a house on fire, the home was a vacant property firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The Trenton Fire Battalion Chief said the cause of the fire is unknown no fire personnel were injured in the fire.
TRENTON NJ: Trenton Humane Police and Trenton firefighters responded to the D&R canal on Holland Street just behind the fire headquarters Monday afternoon where a deer was stuck in the water underneath the bridge, the marine and rescue unit went into the canal and rescued the deer and brought it to land. The humane police relocated the deer to it’s natural habitat.
HAMILTON: The vacant rectory on the grounds of the former Holy Angles Church on the 1700 block of South Broad Street in Hamilton Township went up in flames Sunday morning.
The fire started around 8:30 a.m. when multiple fire companies responded to the scene. Initial reports stated heavy fire was coming from the roof of the structure. The fire has been placed under control. The cause is unknown and no injuries were reported from the incident. A large area of South Broad Street and surrounding side streets remain closed from the incident.
